Limited edition 575 watt bass amp head
The ABM 500 EVO 5th Anniversary is a special limited edition version of the ABM 500 EVO 575 watt bass amp head.
Covered in a luxurious black suede effect material it uses a new power section delivering even faster transient attack and greater headroom.
Like the standard head, the ABM 500 EVO 5th Anniversary is designed to satisfy both bass-purists and tech-heads alike.
Three traditional rotary tone controls (Bass, Middle and Treble) are supplemented by two pairs of additional sliders giving 15dB cut and boost at 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3kHz and 2.6kHz for more sohisticated tone shaping.
The EQ can be switched in/out, and flat/shaped.
An input mix control provides a blend of solid state and dual triode tube preamp stages delivering a range of clean and warm, fat tones, with inputs for active and passive basses.
A balanced DI output is located on the front panel along with a mutable tuner/line output and sub output, while an FX loop and stereo line inputs for the connection of an external sampler or sound source are located on the back panel.
An octave divider accurately reproduces the original bass signal one octave lower with a level control enabling the player to dial in the required amount of bone-crushing bass tone.
The huge low frequency transients are handled with ease by a substantial power section which doubles up on output capacitors and uses only the highest quality output devices and a massive toroidal transformer.
